07-10-2010 - John 23 months

My mood while writing this blog: good

Ok i know John's not actually 23 months until next week but heyho it's only a couple of days.

John seems to have come along brilliantly in the last month or so. he is finally saying MAMA i love it. he shouts it at me all the time but then again he has also taken to calling his dad mama lol. He is also calling Lucy, tracey most of the time and everynow and then you get a Lu Lu off him.

his talking has improved 100% i knew i was worrying myself for nothing. he can now say, Cat, Car, Damian, Dame Dame, go away, shut up, turn it on (this is for the lights lol), get it, who is it, ewwwww, ouch, juice, nana, kay, grandad (on occassion). this is all said obviously in baby babble but i can understand him and my friends who have young children can understand him.

he was full of a cold the other week, it has spread like wild flower where we live, he was so ill, he was absoltuely streaming with snot and passed it on to everyone else, the poor little was so congested he couldn't even lay down flat to go to sleep, i've had to prop him up. but thankfully he seems to have recovered from it quite well.

Lucy's doing well in school, we had her school report not that long ago and she's doing pretty good, she's not the best in the class but she's not the worst, you can't really ask for anything else lol.

and just to prove my height my two sisters are wearing huge heels on their shoes and i've got flats on and i'm also crouching down a bit as i hate being so tall (i'm 5 foot 10) lol.

Hope everyone is doing well with thier little ones.
