My mood while writing this blog: Overjoyed

i am now 21 weeks exactly today. i am over the halfway mark. i had my scan yesterday and am very pleased to reveal my baby is a:-

BOY

i'm gonna have a son and i really couldn't be happier. I'm pretty sure Andrew is chuffed as well although he hasn't exactly been vocal about it. but deep down i know he is. Lucy's pretty excited about having a little brother.

my scan took about 50 minutes as the baby wouldn't cooperate with the midwife, she was trying to get a look at his spine and no matter which way she turned the scanner he would turn to look at her so she couldn't see. pretty sure he's taking after big sister Lucy on the stubborn front lol. oh and he has pretty big feet (this was pointed out by my mum) but the midwife has said that the feet tend to grow first and once his legs have stopped growing they will be average. but saying that he's bound to have big feet anway as mine are huge (7) but i'm 5foot10 so i'm allowed hehe

me and andrew are off out tonight for a meal so Lucy has gone to the babysitters (aka my mum) for the night so i shall get to have a lie in in the morning - bliss.
