| 27-2-2009 - updates | My mood while writing this blog:happy |
Ok first of all, i took John to the health clinic yesterday, he's weighing in at 13 pounds 15 ounces. he's just under the 50th percentile and he's following the same curve since birth so he's doing absolutely fine.
I'm not sure on what his length is though as they don't seen to measure them. he was 53cm born so i am very curious as to how long he is now.
He's doing absolutely brilliant in himself. he's got over his cold from the other week.
He's absolutley in love with his big sister Lucy it really is the sweetest thing to watch the two of them together. i get John up in the morning before Lucy comes down stairs, so i am sat on the sofa giving him his bottle and Lucy will come walking through the door and then that's it, he's starts smiling so much even whilst the bottle is still in his mouth. needless to say the milk kinda goes everywhere. When Lucy's in bed and its just the two of us downstairs i'll be talking away to him and he'll be looking at me so normally and if i mention Lucy he starts jumping (wiggling) about and doing the most enormous smiles. it's so sweet.
John is going for his second set of injections next week, he's kinda behind in them due to me being in work but they are still getting done just a couple of weeks late.
This week was my last week doing full time at work as of Monday the 2nd March i am FINALLY GOING PART TIME i am so excited. i will be working 3 days a week 9 - 5 and will be at home on Thursdays and Fridays. i am looking forward to getting my house sorted out. even though Andrew is at home everyday he is a man afterall and has no idea on how to pick up and put away properly. it's a miracle if he even puts the bin out.
i am looking forward to tomorrow as i am going into Manchester to buy the kids some new clothes. and then my mum is babysitting on saturday night so i am able to have a drink with Andrew. we've had a crazy week and it will be so nice to relax and have a drink, maybe watch a dvd, or we might even go mad and actually go out woohooo. either way i'm just looking forward to a bit of a lie in on Sunday before i go and collect the kids.
