17-3-2009 - John's 4 months

My mood while writing this blog: shocked

OMG i can't believe that John has turned 4 months old already. it seems like yesterday that i was pregnant and moaning.

he hasn't really done much new stuff recently although he has now found his feet and trys to get at them whilst he is sat up and he is talking / cooing ALOT which is brilliant as he really tries to have a conversation with you.

He's doing well with his baby rice, still only has one small bowl of it a day (one spoon rice to 10 spoons of milk) and he likes to spit it everywhere. The baby food jars say he can have them from 4 months so i might get one just to try him with it but don't reall want to be giving him that just yet so may hold off for a few weeks yet.

he was drinking regular 8 ounce bottles 5 times a day but for the last two days every bottle i have given him he has drank between 5 and 6 ounces so i am going to reduce his bottles so i don't waste any formula.

i am still waiting for him to roll over as i have noticed a lot of other mums on the chat room page saying there's have finally done but nope John is still quite happy to lay there kicking away at his toys. He has very good hand co-ordination and is quite happy holding his rattles and his favourite teddy bear

he has now had his second set of injections (running behind with them due to my work) and he was absolutely trooper, smiled right through the first one and cried for seconds on the second. unfortunately they have made him a bit poorly with a cold and a runny bottom. it happened with the first set of injections so i know he will be fine soon.

All in all he is still a beautiful happy little boy who makes my heart smile when i see him.
