06-4-2009 - Lucy's update

My mood while writing this blog: Proud

Anyone who read my last Lucy blog will know that she was picked as Pupil of the Week.

Well this friday (3rd) i picked her up from school and she comes strolling out with all sorts of papers etc.

it turns out on Friday she was chosen as Child of the Term, this basically means that all term she has been helpful, kind, considerate, hard working etc etc. she now gets to wear the red school jumper with school logo on and Child of the Term also stiched on until the end of the school year. she was awarded an Easter Egg with this and also got herself a nice big certificate. (which we are planning on putting up on the kitchen wall), she was also chosen to go on the VIP lunch table. and she will also be starting Spanish lessons and Art lessons.

i seriously cannot believe the change in her since she started at that school. it really has been our saviour. she really has grown up a lot

i can't believe she will be 8 years old in just a few weeks - i'm not old enough to have an 8 year old, i'm only 26 (still a baby) lol

p.s i also get to save myself a bit of money as Lucy needed a new school jumper and now she's wearing this red one i don't have to buy a new one until she goes back in september woohoo lol
