21-4-2009 - John's 5 months

My mood while writing this blog: tired

i can't believe my little baby is already 5 months. i honestly do not know where the time has gone.

not much has changed with him recently. he is still the happy smilley laughing boy he always is. He still dotes 100% on Lucy. Everytime she looks at him he starts hysterically laughing.

He loves his feet. The minute you take his pants off them feet are up and in his mouth. he talks while he is chomping on them - so funny.

i think we are possibily on the verge of having a tooth. i have glimpsed a bit of white just under his gum but so far nothing has broke through.

He still hasn't rolled over yet and to be honest i don't think he probably will. he likes tummy time though and will quite happily lay there on his belly.

his new favourite thing to do is hit - now when i say hit i don't mean in the way you first think. he just likes to bang his hands up and down on you making a slapping noise. he also does this while holding his rattles. he seems to get very excited by it.

He is also loving his food. we are now in a routine of having bottle and then baby rice for breakfast. he then has half a jar at dinner time followed by a bottle. he then has half a jar of pudding followed by bottle at 4ish. then he is back on his normal bottles for 7pm and 11pm. He is always asleep by 8.30pm to 9pm and then i wake him up for the 11pm bottle. I am thinking of maybe just putting him in his bed at 8.30pm and seeing how long he will sleep through.

on another note PRINCESS LUCY IS 8 YEARS OLD TOMORROW.

She is mad on High School Musical (in particular someone called Troy) so i have been out today in my lunch hour at work and bought her some high school muscial stuff. my mum has also bought her high school musical stuff and i just know when she gets the presents of our family she will no doubt have more high school musical and Hannah Montana things. She is really looking forward to tomorrow and i can just imagine she will be up at the crack of dawn.

my friend who i spoke about a few blogs ago has given birth to a gorgeous little girl who she has called Grace Niamh. she was born on the 13th April (one week late) weighing in at 7 pounds 1 ounce.

i am so excited to go and see her this week.

Her son is also doing brilliantly at the minute - being very mischeivous (sp) at school, hiding from the headmaster under tables lol. you gotta love his spirit.

OK so i hope all you ladies out there are having fun with their little ones. and if any of you are in the UK - I AM LOVING THE WEATHER AT THE MINUTE. woohoo
