14-9-2009 - 10 months today

My mood while writing this blog: grateful

John's update

i can't believe my little John is 10 months today. only 2 months till he's 1, the time has gone by so quickly.

Well he still only has one tooth, i did actually think the other one had popped through the other week but i think it was just wishful thinking. He's been a bugger with his sleeping at the minute so i'm pretty much tired all the time as it's me who wakes up in the night with him. Andrew doesn't hear him apparently, yet the minute i start mumbling OH SHUT UP Andrew suddenly starts speaking to me and says don't say that to him. what i want to know is why is it that he can suddenly be awake when i say something yet for the hour before when i'm trying to settle John again Andrew is dead to the world. blinking men!!!!

He still isn't crawling properly yet but his army style crawling is just so cute and it seems to get John to where he wants to be, which at the moment he's usually heading for the tv and he's trying to push all sorts of buttons. He definately doesn't like being told the word NO, he has a really pouty bottom lip and his little eyes start watering, it's a really cute face except for the fact that he's upset.

He's still bombing around the house in his walker and he loves to chase our cat Damian, John loves to torment him especially when Damian is trying to eat his food.

He has started to make new sounds now. He still doesn't say mum but takes great delight in shouting Dad Dad every few minutes and the new saying at the minute is Ca Ca Ca Ca, not really sure what it is he is trying to say as he doesn't say it to any one in particular.

He's still totally loving Lucy and he will screech at her all day if it wasn't for the fact that she's now back in school after the 6 weeks holidays.

He's loving food alot and he trys to eat whatever i have on my plate. He loves loves loves beans but i've had to give him a break from them as his poop was turning orange and really stunk lol

not had him weighed for a while now, i know it's really bad, i will take him this thursday and find out what he weighs. i also just got his appointment through for him developmental check, it's for next monday so i shall do a blog then as well.

Right well hope all you lovely ladies are still lovely and the kiddies are doing brilliantly.

best crack on with some work now as i'm in work and have spent most of my time on here catching up.
