30-5-2008 - Week 17 & 18 Update

Not much to report for the last 2 weeks in the pregnancy front. Everything is still great. I am feeling this baby move all over the place. I can even see some kicks when I have my shirt up lounging. I didn't feel kicks nearly as well with my 1st pregnancy. My placenta was in the front, so it block a lot of kicks. I must be in a different location this time...I can't wait to find out. I still feel like I am having a girl...yet I had this overwhelming feeling yesterday morning when I got out of the shower that I was having another boy. I just can't wait to see if my suspicians are right. I even bought 3 little girl spring dresses at yardsales last weekend. I just couldn't resist. I got 3 really cute dresses for 2.00! I love yardsales!

I am not having a good day today..it just seems like everyone around me is angry and it is rubbing off on me. I just find it hard to by happy and I am just paranoid that everyone is talking about me. To make it worse..my entire dept when out to eat (they invited me), but I was the only one that declined...so now I just feel awful that I didn't go with them. I just don't want them to think ill of me. I worked hard on making supper last night and have leftovers for lunch. I wanted to eat that instead of spending money. I need the money for the Bradley class that I am taking, all the extra gas it is going to take to get there and my birth doula. Not to mention the other expenses.

We are changing my son's crib into a toddler bed this evening. I hope and hope he adapts well, so that we can repaint his room to a "big boy" theme and get him a toddler bed. So that the new baby can have his crib.*fingers crossed* If not...I have a well used crib in the basement.

*Forgot to mention this. Last weekend, May 24th, I threw up! I did this when I was changing my son's poopy diaper first thing in the morning! It was awful really. So, now I yell for my husband when he has did a #2 in his diaper in the morning time.*
