We got Kaitlyn Baptized on Sunday, January 11, 2009. Isn't she so adorable? I am absolutely in love with the dress. I got it at One Small Child. Although she did cry quite a bit and we did run out of chili for the reception things went pretty well. I was proud of myself too. Normally I totally freak out when we have lots of people coming over, but I didn't at all this time. I figured I am just too tired to worry about it...also if anyone wants to complain about my house not being in tip top shape...so be it. I have an infant and a 2 year old and I work full time...how much can be expected?

Besides that we are doing great here. I am back to work now. I have worked one full week and I am still breastfeeding. The breast pump is back to being my best friend. Kaitlyn is getting much more happy and aware of her surroundings. She is already wanting to sit up so bad. She will do that early like Zachary did I am sure.

Zachary is doing great too. He has learned to count to 10, knows lots of shapes and colors. He is thriving. We are trying to work on the potty training some. He does good for a couple weeks and then he just reverts back to wanting to go in his diapers. Any helpful advice in that area would be appreciated. I am just trying to follow his lead right now. He has also gotten attached to carrying around a baby doll, which we dubbed as "Clark". He has a hard time saying the "c and k" sound, so we thought a name like that might help. Plus his daddy is a big Smallville/Superman fan. He trys to BF this doll and everything. Quite funny actually. Hopefully it is short lived, he won't carry around a doll forever. He will be back to carrying around "boy things". His daddy will be happy when that happens again.

Awww, how beautiful. I have yet to take N'kya for her dedication. My church is so huge, it will be done with dozens of other babies. I will look into it between now and next month. As for the potty training, you HAVE to stay consistent. For that time, my home was like a farm. My son would pee all over the place and I would have to go right behind him and clean it up. He never peed in his bed though. As for the poop, he would be afraid to go on the toilet, but once he did it in his pants, I would just take his brief and dump the poop in the toilet and explain this is where the poop go. Every time your hubby uses the toilet, have him go with him so he can see how men use the toilet. Let him take the doll if he wants. Sing to him, count, read a story. My son was fully potty trained 2 months max. The secret is CONSISTENCY! Do not put him in diapers as bad as you want to. When you are out, see if you can invest in a traveling potty. Take him to the bathroom even though he says he doesn't have to go. After he eats, drink or every 2 hours-- take him. Let him sit on the potty right before you leave the house. You say you are at work, where is he when you are away? Whoever is watching him, make sure they are constantly potty training as well. If they drop the ball, it will never work. Hope this helps.
