Friday, 31 Jul Yeah BBQ sounds great in the park but you do live in the UK.... This is a tough one... I don't know how things work up there but in SA there are places where you BBQ but it's covered and you can still be outside... It's called a lapa. Well is it not possible to book it on account of the weather and just see closer to the time what the weather is expected to do or is that going to be a problem? Still thinking and will let you know if I get a bright idea... x x x meeko08 -
Monday, 27 Jul For Logans 1st birthday I just had a BBQ at home. It went great and we had the option of indoor and out door. We all had a blast after all first birtday parties are more for the adults anyway! aluehring -
Monday, 27 Jul I am having a small BBQ at my house with grand partents and aunt and Uncles. Maybe 15 people and a couple of close friends who have little ones around his age. I am having a cake made to look like one of his favorite toys. JordanAndKarasMummy -

Monday, 27 Jul Does the rental include a tented or gazebo area? Outdoor parties are so much fun! Perhaps scope out the area to see if there would be a place you can hang a tarp from trees if it were to rain. You can buy tarp pretty cheap, the kind with the metal rings all around to tie rope through so you can hang it up. I got a tarp about 10m x 10m for $20 and had an outdoor party in the rain last year - it was a blast!
