i am not pregnant nor have i had the shot but i have done a TON of research on this! the h1n1 vaccine is the same vaccine for the regular flu shot except they have added antigens specific to the h1n1 (unactivated virus that helps ur body build antibodies towards it) now we have been seeing alot of bad media about it but the truth is that unless u have underlying immune system problems the most u will get from the shot is a sore arm and a fever. a 2 month old baby died in ontario this week from the h1n1 bcuz his parents didnt get the shot so he was exposed to the virus!!! im not trying to make ur decision for u but i would get the vaccine just for the fact that i could be saving others lives as well as my own. good luck hun!

Hi all and thanks for taking the time to read and answer.
I am scheduled for the H1N1 on the 14/11/09.
I am worried as i will be 10 weeks preggo and my baby is still developing. I am scared the shot interferes with something or affects the baby, but in the same breath i dont want to get the flu and loss my baby or my life.
If you had the shot around the 10 week mark and are now at 20 weeks or more please can you put my mind at ease and let me know your babies and you are 100% fine
