Well today was the first time doc checked to see how far dilated I am and I'm at 1.5. Yea not much, but something I suppose.

He sweeped my membranes and OMG was it painful VERY painful. He told me not to tell the nurses at Labor and Delivery that he gave me a vigourous sweep. lol. he was joshing but he indeed did it vigourously. With my other two I had this procedure done (by female doc) and was painless so I wasn't expecting this at all.

So he expects me to have the baby over the weekend. We'll see...

Sorry if I have scarred those who are having the sweeping of the membranes, It's different for everyone but be prepared.

my membranes are going to be swept monday if i havn't had her by then. i don't care how vigorous they are with me as long as it works and i get her out...lol can't wait to see pics and read birthstory!
