My mood while writing this blog: Releived |
I had my 28 weeks checkup today yay! I passed my 1 hour glucose test which is totally awesome. My blood pressue is 122/60, its always always 120/60 but she said a difference that small is insignificant. Haemoglobin is 117 which is great but my iron is getting low so i have to take some iron tablets which isnt a big deal.
She had a feel on my belly and my fundal height is perfect and baby is head down which is good too. Apparently he is head down-bum up with all his arms and legs to the left. Which i could of guessed by the amount of movement i get on the left side! She had a listen to babys heart beat with this weird plastic tube thing. She put one end on my belly and one end to her ear and she could hear him that easily! Such a clever little boy :D:D:D
Its currently around 32 degrees in perth today. Thats 90 for you Americans :) And i am roasting hot! Im at my mums boyfriends house and id ont know how to use the aircon so i have no way of cooling myself down :( I think im going to melt into a puddle of goo.
Oh well. at least baby is happy and healthy :)

Wednesday, 19 Nov Wow, it's freezing here (32 degrees fahrenheit), so I'd take the heat!! Glad the baby is doing good! scottishkate -
Wednesday, 19 Nov I'm with ya on the heat today! Met up with some friends in Vic Park for lunch and they restaurant wasn't even air conditioned (or they didn't have it on) Strange thing was i seemed to be the only one melting! Great news on your 28 week checkup. I go for my next appointment on Monday so hopefully things will be fine. Been feeling lots of movement (mainly kicking my bladder and bowel!) so thats a good sign.
Supposed to be thunderstorms tonight so maybe that will cool things down! xx
