My mood while writing this blog: Sleepy |
I felt my little boys hiccups for the first time the other morning! I was laying in bed and he was squirming around like he usually does at that time of day then he settled down but i could still feel tiny little movements. i put my hand on my belly where it was strongest and i could feel the poor little guy hiccuping. It was very soft, not like a kick, and it was rhythmic, perfectly in time. And then he got them again that night! i feel sorry for him, must be so uncomfortable in there, especially when my dog has recently become very attatched to me and wont leave me alone and jumps all over me when im in bed or on the couch. Baby is probably getting smooshed by puppy feet. I should be more careful. Anyway i just wanted o share because i have been wondering why everyone else has felt hiccups but not me. I guess hes either only just started doing the breathing motions or hes really really good at it :D Im so proud of my boy xoxoxox

Friday, 12 Dec don't worry about him being uncomfortable! I had heard that its different than getting it as an adult- and not nearly as uncomfortable. Even now at a year old, he gets the hiccups- but it lasts for only a short while and he never complains that the has them. Playing just carries on as normal! myliltiger -
Friday, 12 Dec Yes its quite adorable. They are practicing breathing I was told. Strengthening their skills. I love to feel it. I just rub him and tell him oooh baby.....so sweet. babymama1989 -
Friday, 12 Dec hehe aaww my tiego gets hiccups every night... at first i had no clue they were hiccups they felt like he was twitching lol and then i read it in the book and it said what it would feel like if the baby was having hiccups and it described it perfectly. Nothing to worry about hehe apparently it doesnt bother them like it would us they dont even notice. Hehe and dont worry about your dog on your tummy your little one is so cushioned in there he wouldnt even feel a thing... You should see how hard the doc pushes on my belly! shez05 -
