17-1-2009 - Baby shower

I had my baby shower last Sunday and it wasnt really what i expected. All of my family came except my dad's wife which i was pretty disappointed at seeing as she made a huge fuss about it to begin with. i sent her a text saying 'Are you coming?' and she sent one back saying 'How are you? its too hot and your dad is fixing the fence'. and all i could think was what the fuck does that have to do with my baby shower!? I didn't bother replying. Then the next day my dad called and told me that they had FORGOTTEN about the shower!! and Lil thought that i had organised for dad to come up and see me or something, thats why she said he was painting the fence... It was a girls only shower but i cant beleive that my dad would forget!

Anyways, 3 of my good friends came which was great because i didnt invite anyone else except all the girls i used to work with and not one of them showed up. 0 out of about 10. Most of them had said yep ill definitely be there and they didnt even call to say they weren't coming! i guess it doesnt really matter anyway. screw them.

A couple of weeks earlier one of my cousins on my dad's side of the family asked me if there was any big things that i wanted. So i told her that i still needed a change table and a nappy bag. So that side of the family all put in money and bought them for me! And i got to choose what i got aswell which rocked even more!

so we had some yummy food and played some silly games and that was that. i was buggered by the end of it!
