My mood while writing this blog: Rushed! as ever

Natural childbirth, including unassisted pregnancy and unassisted birth wherever possible.
Co-sleeping.
Baby wearing.
Delayed weaning.
Extended Breastfeeding.
Home education & ‘unschooling’.
Vegetarian & vegan food (by choice not religion).
Most things arty and creative.
Reading non-fiction, classic fiction (esp humorous), historical romance (Heyer, Austen) & modern pulse racing dramas.
Tee-total (by choice not religion).
Non-smoker.
Pro-life.
Pro natural immunity and suspicious/doubtful of the benefits of vaccination (but not fully opposed either).
A relative pacifism.
Parenting without violence, rage or humilation.
Non-political.
Committed soley Bible based Christian - one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Pro self-help.

My favourite colours are PINK! Green, white & subdued yellow.
‘Winter’ colours suit me best (blues, dark reds, purple, white).
Dislike symmetry, geometric shapes & patterns.
Love flowery fabrics.
Hate clutter but hate minimalism more!
I don’t dye my hair (anymore) and am seriously prematurely grey!
I cut my hair myself to save on money.
My favourite mottos are: ‘Make Do & Mend’, 'Keep It Simple' & ‘Good Enough, Is Good Enough’.
I’m 5’7”, a UK size 12-14 with UK size 7 feet.
I’m milk intolerant.
Have fibromyalgia, but control it by avoiding dairy & gluten.
Prefer cheap and cheerful caravan holidays within the UK to going abroad.
Have a psychology degree (but originally left school with very little!).
Left midwifery to be a full-time stay-at-home mum, when my first baby sprang himself on us.
Midwifery, natural maternity and easy mothering are my passions!
Child abuse & rape survivor.
Have no contact with my parents.
Love boho and hippified clothing, particularly dresses - although we can never afford for me to dress as I'd like :0(
Favourite perfume is Body Shop's 'White Musk'.
All time favourite bands/groups - ABBA, The Kinks, T Rex, The Carpenters, Bee Gees & Bread yet mostly listen too instrumental and classical music if any.
Regret I’m not more ‘green’ in my living (eg: reusable nappies).

If I could do anything I wished, I would either be another Julie Walters or be a self supporting author & live on a small holding (with my terrific children, where the wonderful UKPapa wouldn’t have to go away to work ever again).
