| 20-2-2009 - Celese's 5 Month Check-Up. |  My mood while writing this blog:Tired |
Today was Celese's 5 month doctor's appointment. Her appointment went pretty well besides the fact that she is sick and wasn't able to get any of her shots, we have to go back in 4 weeks to get her shots. She's getting soo big, she weighs 15 lbs 4oz and is 26 1/2 iches long. She gained 4 pounds in 2 months and grew 2 inches. The doctor wanted us to go to the hospital to have blood work done to make sure she didn't have RSV, well let me tell you she did not like having the bloodwork, she started screaming because they were having a little trouble finding the vein. I almost cried when she started screaming, once they were done she settled down, and was very happy once again, then they needed to get a sample of her snots...lol. I sat there for almost an hour for someone to come down and squirt saline up her nose and suck it out for a sample. We were about to leave, it took the girl a minute do do it after we sat there all that time. Oh to make things better when we got to the hospital, Celese decided to go #2 Oh did she smell, no freaking bathroom in the hospital had a changing station, so they let us use the bed in the lab, she pooped through EVERYTHING Good thing I had extra clothes...lol. The Dr. called and said the blood work did show a virus, but he didn't say RSV...So she's taking Robitussin for her cough, and she's on predislone for her lungs. So she should be getting better soon, I hope anyway. I hope everyone else is doing ok.. I'll post more later :)
