26-8-2009 - Midwife Appt

My mood while writing this blog: Eating White Chocolate mmm!

Hubby and I went in for the 15 wk appt today. BP was a little questionable 148/80, MW was happy with the lower number but says she doesnt want it any higher than that. I need to have my nursing girls take my BP when I am not nervous or anxious about an appt I know I don't usually run that high! She found the heartbeat right away, right where I keep feeling my flutters and twinges! He/She is running around 150 and beating strong, it was so loud and clear!! My level 2 U/S is scheduled for Sept 29th so that is the big day where we find out who is in there! Yay! I was asked about doing the AFP/Quad Screen, so I am debating that right now. I want to do it, but I am nervous about having a false positive, or worse yet a true positive result. I have until next week before I need to schedule the appt so I will debate until then.

Hubby is all excited and cute because he bought the baby it's first stuffed animal, a monkey he named Fred ;-) We also got the baby another book, this one is Noah's Ark, very cute!
