21-9-2009 - *19 Weeks*

My mood while writing this blog: Sniffly Sneezy Coughy

I am so excited, our laptop arrived so now I can procrastinate online in any room of the house haha! Currently I am parked on the sofa watching tv with my morning coffee and my critters. It's nice to be closer to the bathroom instead of having to trapse up the basement stairs to go wee.

I STILL have my cold. It started on Thursday and it' still sticking around here on Monday....boo! I am so irritated I got sick, I wash my hands religiously and am very aware of avoiding germs...but no escape for the preggos haha!

So I was sitting on the floor yesterday and when I went to get up (ungracefully at that) I totally felt the wad of baby in my belly and it was tender to squish. Thought that was interesting, and def a new occurance for me. Also, at some point while I was sleeping I got partially awakened by a kick. I vaugely remember it, but I remember thinking oh that was totally the baby.

I was eyeballing my belly last night and boy it is really changing from the front view. I have the linea negra from pubis to sternum and I think it's cute. Not so cute are the small stretchmarks I have on the right side of my belly, and the one I think I see emerging on the left. Luckily they are thin and light and those will fade to nothing, not like I ever had the body to bare my belly anyways haha!!

Hubby and I are getting so amped up for the U/S next week!! I swear my husband has the pregnancy glow he is so excited. He has taken amazing care of me this pregnancy, and even more so with my cold. Couldnt ask for a better hubby :-). Oh my I am really rambling on.....I think this is enough of an update, especially since I will at some point have to print all these into my pregnancy book!!!

Edit: This afternoon I felt the baby roll over or flip over for the first time!! That was the strangest feeling ever! It was like I had to pee, then like a ball was inside my belly rolling...very cool! Baby has been moving like crazy this afternoon and evening!!
