26-10-2009 - *24 Weeks*

My mood while writing this blog: Heartburny...uggg

And the heartburn has returned, with a vengence!! This is really gross, but I woke up the other night out of a sound sleep because I must have burped or something and I had bile in my mouth!!! Gag!! I am getting woke up with horrible heartburn that is well on its way up OUT of my throat whenever I sleep. I have been having to take my Zantac 2x's a day and supplement with Tums as needed. My stomach is obviously being compressed from my uterus but sheesh I didn't expect this so soon! I am starting to really feel pregnant now, especially later in the day and after eating.

Tomorrow is our next U/S, the continuation of the anatomy scan from Sept 29th. Hopefully Naughty Baby will not be so modest in its older gestational age and flash us a few times. I also have to do my glucose test tomorrow. The orange drink thingy has been in my fridge for a month now, waiting for tomorrow. My appetite is insane all of a sudden. I am constantly hungry, constantly craving something and it's an angry hunger! I was trying to explain a preggos hunger to my husband. It's more than just being hungry, it's like if you don't eat you may kill someone or keel over.

I am still holding strong on the discomfort front. No back pain, hip pain, ect. I have been going to the chiro weekly for a massage and adjustment and I strongly believe that is what is saving me. I was sleeping great too, until this reflux started in. I do generally have to semi wake up to flip from one side of my body to the other (and move the dog out of the way bed hog she is).

Well I do hope I have some gender news to share tomorrow, I really don't want to have to go until Feb to find out, but not much I can do if the kid won't spreadum right.

One month and nursing school is OVER!!!!
