| 16-1-2009 - Doc appt. | My mood while writing this blog:relaxed |
Well I just got back from my doctor's office. They did my ultrasound to make sure everything looked good with the baby and I'm happy to say that he is looking healthy.
I didn't tell the ultrasound tech I knew it was a boy so I could hear what she would tell me and yep, no doubt about it... she told me she is 100% sure its a boy, and well I'm over 100% sure this baby is a boy. She gave me 8 pictures (I'll have to scan them later and post.) He was sucking his thumb and playing with his face for a while it was sweet. She told me they do the 4-D ultrasounds between 28-32 weeks so to schedule one with them then. Of course I'm going to get a free 4-D ultrasound of my baby boy :) again. I'm also already looking forward to going back to Angelprints when I'm that far along to get another DVD of him and more pictures. I have so many pictures of this baby already, I need an album! I'm really enjoying this because with my first daughter I only got 2 ultrasounds with a total of like 4 pictures my whole pregnancy. (The first was at 9 weeks and the second at 20)
Lastnight I was laying down in bed reading my book and started feeling strong movements. I put my hand on my stomach and waited a bit and I actually felt him kick my hand! I immediately called my husband over to come and feel, he was laughing so much at me and saying "You know this isn't our first pregnancy." I know I was excited with my first but there is something different about this pregnancy (Probably because it will my last....) that I am just taking EVERYTHING in. So I decided to see if I could actually SEE my stomach move when the baby kicked, after a few minutes of staring at my stomach the movements started again, strong...and sure enough my stomach moved when he kicked. :) Such an awesome feeling.. For the most part though, this baby is way more chilled out compared to my first pregnancy with my daughter.
