16-6-2008 - Hectic weekend... exaustedMy mood while writing this blog:
exausted

On thursday, I noticed Coral wasn't her normal self...So I wasn't to surprised to find out that evening that she had a fever. When I checked her temperature was 38.4C and I got a bit worried as it was the first time ever that she's been sick. During the night the temp went up to 39.5C which got me even more worried. So on friday morning we went to the doc with her. He told us to carry on giving her panado for the temp, but to watch if she didn't get worst because if she did, then we would have to put her on antibiotics (He knows I'm trying to avoid it...).

Saturday morning she was much better, but still not perfectly well. I took her to the Homeopath and she gave us something for the temp which worked wonders. She even slept better that night.

Sunday morning she was fine, but sunday afternoon something changed. My baby never ever cries, and no, I'm not exagerating, she really doesn't cry. So when she started not only crying but SCREAMING, I knew something was wrong. Off we went to the hospital. OMG, I think these kind of Docs you could only find in these african hospitals. Seriously, the man didn't even check my daughter!!! Just told me to give antibiotics, because whatever was wrong with her , the antibiotic would sort out. The nurse even asked him if he wasn't going to check her ears. He didn't check ears, throat, nothing!!

We came home, and I was very very angry at the doctor, and obviously never gave her the antibiotic. She seemed better and went to sleep. But she woke up 4 hours later again SCREAMING. It really looked to me like it was her tummy, but because nothing seemed to help, off we went to the hospital again.

I immediately asked for a different doctor, but this one did basically the same thing!!I was so so so angry, but once again she settled down so I just decided to wait till today.

Today she has been fine, apart from the "nappy rash" everyone says she has, but to me it looks a bit more like Thrush. Tomorrow, we off to the homeopathic doctor again, hopefully she can help!

With all of this Coral only sleeps on top of me, as I put her down she wakes up..My poor baby...She needs lots of love...My heart is sore just from seeing her like this.I hope she gets better soon!!!
