07-5-2009 - My 16 week Midwife appt

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Hey ladies today i had my appointment with my midwife, i am now 16 weeks 3 days pregnant time is going so fast! Anyway i have been having shortness of breath racing heart and numbness in my left arm. The medical assistant took my blood pressure and it was 150/80 so its high that not good at all, my midwife came in and asked me if i was stressed out and i said no not that i no.But i do go to work with my husband everyday because his license is suspended im the driver and he works alot so maybe that is the reason im llike this im over whelmed and maybe i need rest. She said that she is going to make an appointment for me to get a EKG done and some tests so she will call me on Monday to give me an appointment. I heard my babies heart like always when i see her and it was 140 bpm baby is great and healthy. I get an vaginal ultrasound every 2 weeks because when i was about 15 years old i had pre cervical cancer so they have to make sure it doesnt come back and everything is ok and my cevix is strong and not open. I love the fact i get to see my baby every 2 weeks so i get to see him/her grow i have an appointment on the May 12th and i find out the sex of the baby on the 19 maybe i get to find out earlier when i go next week well ladies hope all is well xoxo
