So me and my hubby went to Akron Children's Hospital today which is 1 hour away from our house and it was SNOWING like crazy..We had to go because we were informed that our baby had suspected choroid plexus cysts on his brain..so we made our way up there and got into the genetic counselor and she told us everything that could happen with these cysts and how likely there would be something wrong...I was very low risk because I am young and nobody has had problems in my family before..so after that we go into the ultrasound room and they tell me I have to get an internal and external I was like oh yay i love internals..NOT...so they did the internal to check my cervex to make sure it was long and closed which it was and then the lady starts doing the external...she starts going across all the parts of the body and keeps saying perfect perfect perfect so I am like well thats good...then she says ohh well there isnt even a cyst on his brain..so either it went away or it really was just "suspected" and was never there to begin with! So we were very happy about that...got confirmed that we are having a boy got a few more pics and my favorite one is of him seriously flexing his arm...haha I swear you can see his little muscles! I will have to get them put up! so anyways Gage is 12 oz now and completely healthy! the only thing wrong was that my placenta was kinda close to my cervix which I had that last time I was pregnant and it moved and they said it more than likely would move again...so I am sure I will get at least ONE more ultrasound to see my little guy and get more pictures! So excited! Thank you everyone for reassuring me that everything would be ok!!!
