| 08-7-2008 - 22 Weeks |  My mood while writing this blog:Ok |
I am in my 22 weeks and things could be any better.. I do have to say I love being prego.. My hubby and I went and registered at Babies R Us and Target.. That was so hard stuff to do, very overwhelming.. There are so many different types of bottles and breastfeeding things I didnt know what to do.. I was seriously lost. But at the end we had alot of fun doing it... I think it will all come together.
This past weekend we went camping on the Kings River and had such a great time.. But I do have to say being in the heat and on my feet all day my feet were so swollen, they actually hurt.. Besides that I was in the sun for three days straight and I get got tan.. I used 70 sunblock.. Boy does that stuff work, I didnt burn at all... But the only down fall I had all weekend was I forgot my Palmers lotion and oil to put all over my belly.. So guess what happend after not having it for 4 days.. I am getting stretch marks.. It sucks.. But if that is all that happends I am greatfully.. I will take the stretch marks.. They just arent the prettiest thing out there.. But they are worth it.

I don't wish stretchmarks on anyone, but I agree with momoftwoluvbugs, if you're going to get 'em, you're going to get 'em. I tried everything that everyone suggested and still got 'em. They have actually lightened up a lot and started going away...right before I found out I was prego a 2nd time! But, you're right, they are so worth it!

Omg let me tell you about stretchmarks!! I have a picture posted of mine. I gained 67lbs with my daughter and I tried every oil, lotion, balm, etc known to mankind to stop them -- but it doesn't matter. It all depends on your skin type. Unfortunately there were no stopping mine!! I'd take a couple over my entire stomach full anyday! :0) You'll be fine!!
