06-10-2008 - Another day in L & D

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Well Friday morning when I woke up to go to work I noticed I had a few blood spots in my underwear with some major cramping.. So I really wasnt to worried about it so I decided I would finish getting ready to go to work.. Well while I was at work I noticed both times I went pee and wiped there was pink stuff on the paper.. So I gave in and called the doctor knowing something just wasnt right. He told me to get to L&D, so by the time I got there it was 11:00a.m. The right away hooked me up to the monitors and the baby was fine with a strong heart beat.. I felt better knowing she was ok.. So after waiting awhile they finally came in to check me.. Well let me tell you they had to check me dry and that hurts so bad.. It hurt more then the contractions and the cramping I was having. Well the nurse told me I had a irritated cervix where the spotting could be coming from, and that I have also dialated to 1cm. Then the nurse finally check my urine and it came back sayign that I have a UTI.. The weird thing with that is I had no symptoms of it.. So they called my doctor and told him everything going on.. My doctor said if I wasnt having contractions and the cramp went away I can go home.. Well I was having contractions every 3 mins, but I was only feeling a few of them.. I have been telling my doctor for about a month now that I seem to have alot of contractions.. My doctor never seems to be concerned.. So since they werent going away they had to hook me up to and IV for two hours and pump me with fluids.. Well even after all that my contractions still wouldnt stop, but I was finally able to convince the doctor on call at this time to let me go cause it is the same that I have been dealing with for a month.. So they told me as long as the cramping went away that they will release me.. So at this time it is already like 6:00p.m. and I have eat all day. (they wouldnt let me).. I was so tired of laying in the hospital and so pissy cause I havent eat I was probably not the nicest patient at this point.. But they did release me..But before they releases me they needed to check me one more time.. So here she comes again but this time was able to use gel but let me tell you it hurt sooooo bad I was crying.. I wasnt happy at all but I was then dialated 2cm. So I went got food and watched the Angel game (My poor Angels lost).

So Saturday my hubby and I had to go get Prego pictures done..I have been looking forward to getting this done for over a week now.. So we headed out to the park and since I wasnt feeling good we took a few pictures and then had to leave.. I just hope that some turn out good. Well that night I was having such horrible contractions and the worst cramp way down in my vajayjay that I was in tears.. So I tried laying down on my left side cause they usually will go away well they didnt.. So I called my doctor and he said if the baby is moving ok and my water hasnt broke Im ok.. So they finally went away.. I was good to go and finally feel asleep.

Now sunday I woke up and my body just hurt really bad and so I stayed in bed until around 11.. I finally woke up and eat something... and I would say around 1p.m. I was feeling like a new woman.. I had so much energy and so I went and got some boxes so I could help my hubby's aunt who is in town pack up my house.. Yesterday was a great day.

So now today I woke up so I can get ready for work and now I have symptoms of the UTI.. ISnt it lovely.. So I figured as soon as I get to work I will call my doctor and tell him I now have the symptoms and what would you like me to do.. Well my doctor is in surgery until atleast 1p.m. today that they will either call me in something or have me come in for a check up.. So I am just waiting to see what I do next.. But at the mean time I am at working trying to only take the long walk to the bathroom if I know I really have to go pee.. Hoping that I dont pee my pants.. That would be so embrassing..
