My mood while writing this blog: Ok |
Ever since we have found out this one is a girl- my hubby is terrified- he is lieterally scared- he keeps talking about all the things that he expereinced (as a teen) with bad girls, promiscous females etc.) He is so scared that if we overly spoil her she will turn into a hateful "meangirl" and he keeps telling me- No, she will not be in pageants, no she will not be in dance- I did pagaents and dance until I was a teen and it wasthe best- he is scared to change her diaper b/c of "touching her" he is just very scared in everyway. Will he get over this and eventually come around??? Please tell me your experiences- he is a great dad so Im not worried there I am just scared he will end up siding with our son Asa and I will be on her side and we will become a famiyl divided. lol please help

Monday, 19 Oct Well we have one girl and two boys now and another girl on the way.I will admit I do see some favoritism over the boys because he can relate to them better about sports but I told him you can be more involved with their sports but you always have to give her the attention she needs no matter what!Girls will act out and do stupid things if they have dads who do not pay enough attention!Tell him your kids behave the way we do....and that means if we care for other people and talk nice about people and be truthful they will mimick your actions! He will be fine he will surprise himself when he sees how fun girls can be but I agree def do not allow liitle girls to be brats nip that one in the bud EARLY! Good luck Im sure he will do great! mrslebow06 -
Monday, 19 Oct Oh yes, my hubby was scared to bathe samara, change her diaper and everything else. He had the same fear of "i don't think it's right." I am so happy to say he grew out of that very quickly... and now she is daddy's little girl - and he never complains about anything, lol. But he has said that she will not join dance or cheerleading - that still has not changed, he wants her to play sport sports, like basketball or tennis, whatever though. :) zoe -
