May be Im just jealous lol - b/c Im in so much pain but I feel like I am seeing so many people that are b/t 34-36 whose doctors have already talked about inductions in the 39th week? Please let me know if your doctor has already discussed this with you with or without medical reasons. Im just curious b/c when I saw my doc he just said he thinks baby is coming early b/c she dropped 5 weeks ago and Im almost completely effaced. He is checking me for dialation on Nov 4th my appt I will be about 36 1/2 weeks then- I guess I am just hoping he isnt one of those OB's that makes u go to 42 weeks lol.

I will be scheduling my induction this TH for about 29 weeks. But, the reason that we are talking induction is b/c baby is measuring very big. I figure i would rather be induced than end up with emergency C-section b/c I can't get him out on my own.And to be honest with you, my Dr told me that people induce all of the time b/c of the holidays. I think that even is he weren't measuring big, she wouldnt mind inducing me early. It would only be a couple of days and as long as baby is completely healthy, she doens't think it's an issue.Maybe you can ask your Dr about it at your next appt. Just see what he says...can't hurt! Let me know!

its based on the Doc. my doctor refused to induse me till i hit 41 weeks. but its all on what the doctor feels comfortable doing. THANKFULLY i only made it TOO my 39th week lol i am glad i didnt get induced. cause my babys birth weight was only 6 pounds.. so she was only an ittly bitty tiny weenie thing. and the longer they stay in the better it is for baby
