04-11-2009 - 36.6 week OB Appointment

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Well- the waiting game at this point lol- Everything is great- baby is great- she is still completely engaged. When he did my pelvic he can feel her head still of course- but Im only 1cm dialated. I know It really should'nt matter, but I feel dissapointed considering the amount of pain Ive been in I expected to have progressed more? But she will come when she is ready- however the good news is that my Doc. does'nt like women going over 40+ weeks so in the event she has not arrived by Nov 28th than I am welcome to ask for an induction if I feel comfortable with that-- so atleast I know the option is there and I wont be penguining around in December lol- Good luck ladies- its the home stretch for me---No matter the pain- baby is sooo worth it!!!!

I was somewhat disappointed as well ....when I went back yesterday there was no change(still at 1.5 and 50%) but part of me is kinda glad due to all the things still not done that i wanted to get done! She wont stay in any longer than mu due date either so that good!

oh, that's good that you will have the option to induce if you do make it to 40 weeks! i went from 0CM to 1CM in a weeks and a half and i felt disappointed as well. But, you are right, we are in the home stretch! Not too much longer girl!
