25-9-2008 - My Divorce is Over!!!

My mood while writing this blog:
Excited

Finally after 16 months from the time he left and 13 months from the time he filed, my divorce is over!!! YAY!!! I'm sooo excited. I never would have thought I would have said that one day. When I got married I of course intended on staying married til death shall we part. But it didn't work that way. Even though I tried very hard to hang on to it. He admits to 3 affairs and I've heard of 6. The 3rd time he decided to leave home he went straight to his girlfriends house, even after my 6 year old at the time says, "Daddy I'll give you all my money if you stay" How can anyone leave after that? But he did and that was May 27, 2007. Then shortley after that he regreted his decision and wanted to try to work things out again so we talked the majority of last summer seeing if this could possibly go again but he was still treating me like a dog so finally one day I just told him...Either you love me or you don't, Either you wanna be with me or you don't but I have got to get off this roller coaster ride. And that is when he said it was over...July 19, 2007. Finally I had the answer I knew all along just couldn't face. He filed for Divorce August 15, 2007. July 27, 2007 was the day I contacted Wayne and him and I started dating and have been together every since. Of course for those that had read much of my profile you know he is an X of mine from 11 years ago. I won't go into that story again. But I am a firm believer in things happening for a reason and I am totally happy to be where I am today. It is hard at times to realize my marriage is over but I am very thankful to not be living that life anymore. It was a miserable 7 years while we were together. We made our 8 year anniversary this year but only because the divorce took so long. I am in no hurry whatsoever to jump right back into another marriage and thankfully neither is Wayne..we both know we are with who we want to be with and there is noone else and we don't need that little peice of paper to tell us that.

Congrats on the Divorce! Not very many women like to hear that but I know your happy =) Now you and your "ex"/ Honey =) haha can focus on your little bundle of joy coming into the world here shortly! Hope all goes well with your pregnancy! =))
