01-10-2008 - Baby Hiccups

My mood while writing this blog:

Well finally yesterday I figured out my lil man had the hiccups. I'm sure he actually has had them a few times before I just didn't notice that is what was going on. So yesterday I'm sitting at work right after I ate lunch and I notice him kicking...so I start watching my belly to see it jump...so cute. Then I realized in was in regular intervals. Lasted about a minute, I loved it :)

WOW, I JUST REALIZED WE HAVE THE SAME DUE DATE. I WILL PROBABLY DELIVER EARLIER THOUGH SOMETIME BETWEEN 28 AND PRAY TO GOD MORE LIKE 36-37 WEEKS DUE TO LOW FLUID I'VE HAD SINCE 16 WEEKS, BUT MY FLUID HAS BEEN INCREASING WITH STRICT BEDREST ALMOST UP TO 4 CM, AND 5 CM IS THE LEVEL AT WHICH THEY DIAGNOS THE PROBLEM, SO I AM ALMOST BORDERLINE WHICH WOULD THRILL ME TO DEATH! GLAD ALL IS GOING WELL, WE ARE HAVING A GIRL, SHE MEASURED A FEW WEEKS SMALLER THAN I AM DUE TO THE FLUID ISSUE SO SHE DOESN'T MOVE THAT MUCH WHERE I SEE IT, BUT I FEEL HER EVERYDAY, AND TODAY I MADE MY HUSBAND TALK INTO MY BELLY BUTTON CAUSE I DID NOT FEEL HER MOVE YET AND SHE'S BEEN FLUTTERING AROUND EVER SINCE....I THINK I WILL FREAK WHEN I ACTUALLY SEE IT! GOOD LUCK KEEP IN TOUCH, KRISTEN.

My little guy gets the hiccups several times every day... and night!!! It's so cute! Last night though, I was trying to sleep and I guess my bladder was kinda full so everytime he hiccup-ed it'd wake me up... I finally got up and peed, but goodness sleep is precious!

aww thats soo exciting! it's funny cuz i was just talking with my friend today about how i wanted to feel my little guy hiccup....what does it feel like? how do u know it is a hiccup and not him moving??
