Ok so the Dr. put me on Glyburide Tab 2.5 mg for the Gestational Diabetes and I took it on Friday for the first time and it dropped my sugar tooo low (down to 59) so I boosted it back up and felt soooo sleepy the rest of the day. I called the Dr. to check and see if he was concerned with that or what and he never called me back. Well Saturday I forgot to take it until about 4pm and with the way it dropped me the day before I was afraid to take it so late in the day because I didn't want to go to sleep that soon after taking it. So today I took it again and it didn't drop me that low because I didn't let it but I started not feeling well and I took it and it was 127 and I thought well I guess I just don't feel well, then 15 minutes later I started to feel like I was going to pass out, (dizzy and lightheaded) so I took it again and it was 97. So it still wasn't to low but it dropped 30 points in 15 minutes so I figure that is why I got that feeling. Mom gave me graham crackers and I felt much better. But for the rest of the day today all I have done is sleep and that's all I feel like doing is sitting here at my computer or sleeping, and I have so much I need to be doing and I just can't. I get out of breath walking from the living room to my bedroom to even begin to start cleaning it. This was suppose to be a low dosage of this medication but I'm thinking it is still too much for me. My numbers were only getting between 120-140 which isn't to bad so he just wanted to put me on enough to help me get them below 120 but if it's gonna make me feel this bad I'd rather go back to attempting to diet and try to do a better job at it. Anyway just curious if anyone else has had any experiences with GD and Meds and feeling so bad.

I feel bad for you. With everything else going on, this is all you need! I don't have any experience with GD. Sorry. =(
