06-7-2009 - 16 week doc appt OkMy mood while writing this blog:

ok so finally had my appt and everything is going to perfection well sorta. heard the heartbeat right away again. whewww! I lost two pounds again. Which I think is pretty dam good lol.(i should get pregnant more often haha) I told him I wanted my cervix checked because ive been having some minor contractions and Cervix is Closed yeeeeeaaayyyy!. Thats the best news ive heard so far. He said i can have an ultrasound anytime i want between now and three weeks :) everything is going soooo good except........ I was supposed to start my progesterone shots today. My doc warned me that hardly any pharmacies want to fill that prescription and hes right. I tried two places and nope. The doc told me of a place that fills it.. AN HOUR AWAY..... mind you I have to pick it up weekly then take it to the doc to get my shot in the buttt. Thats the only bad thing. So this week im going to look under every rock to see if theres a pharmacy closer. If not o well im gonna have to do it. He says i still have to be on moderate rest. But soo far sooo good. I think that im gonna schedule my ultrasound in about two weeks. He didnt want to do one until 20 weeks but i think he saw my pitiful expression and my puppy dog eyes and caved. lol...

I would so wait for 2 weeks to get the ultrasound so they can tell you for sure if your having a boy or girl!! How exciting!! Oh I'm so sorry your having to deal with that crap with the shot and pharmacies not wanting to fill it. Thats a pain in the butt and how in the hell do they expect you to be on bed rest with you have to drive an hour away to get the prescription and then an hour back to your doctor??!! I would get on yellowpages.com and call every pharmacy in your area. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you find one closer. What about a compound pharmacy? They might have it since they deal with meds that normal pharmacies wont fill.
