05-9-2009 - just a quickie

My mood while writing this blog: ok

well just wanted to let everyone know how i was this weekend. I had alot of contractions for about two days. It was alot of stomach balling up and some back pressure. well i was resting to see if they went away and low and behold went to the bathroom and had some discharge with a tiny amount of blood in it. so went to the er. turns out i was having contractions two minutes apart and didnt even know it. so i was admitted.lucky me. luckily right away they said that my upper/inner cervix was shut but soft. the outside/lower cervix was 1cm dialated already. they swabbed me for a million things. did that test to see if the baby was gonna be born in 2 weeks and it was neg thank god. so i was put on terbutaline which makes me sick to stop contractions. it worked. so now im on ampicillin and terbutaline. on complete bedresttttt. nothing nada zip cant do anything. had an ultrasound and everything is perfection cervical length , baby measuring a week ahead, placenta perfect everything. wheeww. so now i just have to wait it out at least another 8 weeks. o well at least everything else is perfect. Today is my sons baptism party. i have everyone doing everything for me. im pretty much a guest at my own party. im just glad i was able to get out (hospital)a couple hours before the baptism.ok this is getting long lol .

Sounds like you are going through the same thing I've been dealing with. I've been having contractions since I was 14 wks. So I have to take the pills to stop them,fun fun! I am 28 wks now and having my c section at 36 to 37 wks if I hold out that long. Past experiences say I won't though..lol Good luck to you,hope everything goes well from here on out!

WOW! How scary! So when are they expecting you to deliver? Luckily you have friends and family around you that support and love you. Girl kick those feet up ane enjoy bed rest. HAHA, when this little one gets here you'll be missing it!
