| 23-5-2008 - third trimester already?? |  My mood while writing this blog:Ok |
Time's flying, and Russell and I are currently in a whirlwind of re-arranging and getting ready for the baby. The weather's just lovely, and being strategic about our plans has really helped out. I'm so lucky to have Russell's support and hard work right now. He's the most amazing man.
Last weekend, we made the obligatory nesting trip to IKEA, picking up a desk for our fabulous new Mac. We both love it, and although Russell's been condemned to having an office in the kitchen, I think we really are doing the most we could possibly do with the space. We'll be working on the old office soon, but there's no real hurry.
Tomorrow, I have a baby shower with a lot of work friends and their babies. Russell's mom will come, too. I'm so flattered that there's this big party for Rose and I. I've spent weeks cleaning (or so it feels), and our house looks about as great as it possibly could. I got flowers, dusted everything twelve times, and hid most of my messes in my closet. The margarita mix is chilling and the patio is clean. I guess I'm as ready as I could be.
