Write a new blog

My mood while writing this blog: Ok |
I read somewhere that nesting generally takes over a week or two before the baby comes. Well, it hit me hard at around 30 weeks. I started by dusting EVERYTHING. I was out of control. One day, I even contemplated cleaning my neighbors' windows, no kidding. I found myself scrubbing baseboards, cleaning every glass surface, and reorganizing everything. Luckily no one was home to see what a complete maniac I was.
I tortured Russell with nags about completing Rose's room....every second. I was obsessed. Well, we did most of the nursery in two very long weekends, and I'm so proud of it. I think it will make a wonderful home for baby Rose. Even though I'm still cleaning more than my nature usually tells me to, the nesting has calmed down. I can put my feet up, talk to friends, and think about this little girl that is coming so soon.

Thursday, 17 Jul I think I have been nesting on and off for the past few months! I really want to get the rest of the house painted before she comes but I just don't have time! So hubby is going to while we are out on leave. I have not been home much lately to really "nest". I just feel like I don' t have enough time to get anything done!! LisaC -

Thursday, 17 Jul Can I have some of that energy??? I have done nothing yet, except get babies clothes washed. We aren't doing a nursery because we are trying to move! Your nursery is so great...and now you can relax! I wish you were my neighbor, my windows need a good cleaning!
