02-5-2008 - It\'s a boy!!!

My mood while writing this blog: So happy!!!!

I had my appointment on April 30th, it was supposed to be just a regular appointment so I didn't insist my husband go with me because he had some things to do around our house with my dad. The heartbeat was 138 and then the Dr. came in and was measuring me and said uh oh.... I don't know uh oh's.. He said I was measuring at 22 weeks, I was a little over 18. So he wanted to do an u/s to check for twins! I almost fell off the table. I texted my husband what was going on and he was in a tizzy lol.. I called him and told him to try to hurry and make it. We live about 30 minutes from the Dr.'s office. My friend Chasity works at the clinic so she went in with me to hold my hand. Well sure enough it's only one. They asked me if I wanted to know and I told them yes. I knew my husband would miss this but I had to know. We were hoping for a girl so when they tech told me it was a boy I thought I would be upset. But I'm anything but! When I saw him on the screen kicking and wiggling I totally fell in love. He is just perfect!!! My husband made it just as we were walking out of the room, the tech was so nice she asked if we wanted to do it again so he could see him. Of course we did!! My husband was smiling the whole time, couldn't believe how clear you could see him. So now we have another boy coming and we have decided to name him Michael Aidan. I can't wait to meet him!! I'm so in love already...
