I would try it, You'd actually be surprised. I bought my son a potty when he was 12 months old and he is now 13 months and has actually used it several times. So i dunno where people get it that boys are harder to potty train, cos we are doing just fine!!

well i know i and my lil brother we both potty trained by two...but that is because my grandma (who took care of us) thought that we were ready. and i guess we were. but if your son is not ready-don't force him-it will just upset/frusrate him. good luck thou.

I agree, its far too early but you can try. Certainly dont push it on him or he may become more discouraged as he gets older.

It wouldn't hurt to introduce him to it, but boys' bodies cannot potty train that early they cant control themselves as early as girls can.

So when i dropped Aiden off at school today his teacher mentioned that she's going to begin potty training some of the kids in her class and asked if I was ready to start Aiden and that she would help while he is there with her. Is it too soon? he's only 14 months old.. has anyone heard of potty training this early? he's in the older infant class and i've been in daycare for 4 yrs now and we've always started potty training in the toddler room 18-24 month class... do you think i should start or no i'm not so sure he'd get the hang out it this early. any opinions are welcome!
