30-6-2008 - Baby Moving? OkMy mood while writing this blog:
Ok

Last night I couldn't go to sleep because I kept feeling funny feelings in my tummy. And it happened again just now. I don't think it's gas...it feels more like fluid movement. Like the baby opened a can of coke in my tummy maybe? I'm skeptical that it is the baby though because it is still early to feel him isn't it? It's very exciting though! Now I'm constantly aware of any belly happenings. It's keeping me entertained at work thinking about it. This week is so slow with 4th of July this weekend, I think everyone has gone out of town.

Ya, I felt my first movement at 16 weeks when I was laying down in bed on my back. I find it's easier to feel the movements when your like that..just make sure your head is propped up cuz your not supposed to lay down flat after 4 months since it's dangerous for your baby.

Not too early at all! I was feeling my first movements at 15 weeks and now they are strong definitive kicks lol! It feels weird at first, but here is how to tell the difference....gas bubbles are all over the place while baby movements normally stay pretty consistantly in the same spot! Congrats hun it is a wonderful feeling!!
