My mood while writing this blog: OK

All is ok, though the nuchal folds test didn't work out. The baby was facing the wrong direction and wouldn't turn around. They prodded it for a while and it kept doing headstands, but it wouldn't face in a way so that they could see the back of the neck. Still, it was fun to watch the pod swimming around, and I'll get to see it again next week when they try again. Actually, it will be a new doctor who is doing it. I'm going to be switching obs next week, though I haven't told my old ob yet. I hope this new guy is good. He came highly recommended, but you never know. My old ob is nice enough, but she's a bit flaky, and it's hard to have confidence in her. Also, frankly, she's not a very good listener because she is always so harried. It'll be awful though if this new guy isn't any good either, because then I don't know where I'll go and I'd like to have some consistency. I guess we'll see.
