| 10-9-2008 - Film you should watch... | My mood while writing this blog:scared and angry |
Hey! Just wanted to let everyone know about this documentary, in case you never heard of it. It's called "The Business of Being Born" and you can watch it for free online at:
http://watch-movies.net/movies/the_business_of_being_born/ (It comes in 4 parts, only 1hr 27min total)
It's about the US and its philosophy of birth. It's very eye opening. In no way do I want to seem judgemental by me recommending it. My husband and I were already aware of a lot of the points and chose our prenatal care accordingly. I just think this film puts it across in a convincing manner with interviews and actual footage. It's just a good thing to educate yourself on, just so you're aware...no matter what your preferences are for your birth! No matter what you chose for you will be great, I just feel that too many people don't know their options, that's all!
Oh, and by the way, I totally just felt the baby move for real this time...it felt like a cat purring in my stomach!!
