28-7-2009 - 2nd Appointment @ 12 weeks!

Well I just returned from my 2nd appointment. They did another ultrasound and I got to see my little girl squirm around. I am not sure what the sex is, but I want a girl! Anyway, The baby's heartbeat was 156 bpm. From the initial test she looked like she didn't have down syndrome, but they will confirm that with the blood test. They said that all of my numbers looked good, i.e. blood pressure, blood level as far as anemia, and surprisingly my pap came back normal. I have never had a normal pap. I guess the LEEP procedure I had really worked! I am oh so happy that everything looked good! My next appointment is in 4 weeks. They will do another set of tests and I will get to hear the heartbeat, sadly no ultrasound. The only downside of my appointment today was that upon leaving it started to rain and I got drenched walking back to my car, which was parked a ways away!

congrats girl.i go tomorrow. so glad all is well for you. i´m sure we´ll be fine as well.i will ask for a pap as well since i have a history of infection.did you the pap results same day?
