11-9-2009 - Am I stupid?

I have been feeling pains in my lower left abdomin when my bladder is full. Last night I got up to use the bathroom and I felt that there was a ball of pins in my belly and when I bent over it felt like it was coming out of my stomach. I hurt so bad that I made a dr.'s appointment to finally get some help. The dr had never heard of anything like this before and thought it could be ligament pain and I told him this is my 2nd child, and I knew what that felt like, and this is not it. I thought it was a bladder infection, but my test proved negative. I was very confused. He conducted a pelvic exam where he stuck half his arm up my vajayjay and poked on my already sore stomach. He said that he felt something hard, and it could possible be a cyst on my ovaries or a fibroid. That could only be confirmed with an u/s, and since it wasn't life threatening I could wait until next week when I have my scheduled appointment. I am hoping that it is not anything serious, but that the pain will go away soon! Thanks for listening!

Sorry for the extremely late response, but I just wanted to say that I hope everything turned out ok! This is my first pregnancy that has made it this far and it definitely comes with its discomforts. Best wishes sweetie!

Hey! Yea i truly understand i had the same pain night after night..And the u/s proved it 2 be a cyst over my left ovaries..but it is safe and will fade away they say threw out the pregnancy...So try not 2 worry girly..
