| 19-8-2009 - Spotting and Ovulation Tests | My mood while writing this blog:Feeling Better |
It seems that each day is twice as good as the one before. I'm pulling myself up, but not without the help of my friends and family. Esp my best friend and my hubby. I passed zero tissue today (which I hope is a good thing, that it's all out!) The bleeding is closer to spotting now, which makes me feel so good! I've been bleeding or spotting since Aug 2nd! If you'd told me a few months ago that I'd bleed for 18 days straight I'd have laughed in your face. Is just such an alien thing to happen to me. But I know that's what happens after a M/C and after birth of a live baby.
Tonight we went to the dollar store. We like to go there to get our cleaning supplies and random candy and stuff. I saw the $1 pregnancy tests and ovulation tests and thought, why not stock up on a few ovulation tests to just kinda track the coming months. I've read many places online that after a M/C your periods can be irregular for awhile, and sometimes not. I think that just my luck, they may be irregular, even though they've been very regular my entire menstrual life. For $1 I figured, why not! I bought 5 ovulation tests. They say 99% accurate, so we'll see. I should have bought a few pregnancy tests too, just to see if there's enough hcg still in me to show a positive, I'm thinking there probably is since the actual baby passed a little over a week ago.
I'm just hoping this spotting continues to taper off and that it is totally gone before my next Dr. visit on Monday Aug. 24. Just really hoping everything is out and I get the green light from the doctor to carry on with my life. If I do get the thumbs up, we'll most likely start trying again in November/December; which will be 3 months give or take since the M/C depending on how long it takes my AF to return. I'm freakishly optomistic afte the weeks I've had. I hope this isn't false optomism, and that it actually all works out for us. I still have all of the other M/C survivors in my thoughts and hope you all a safe and quick recovery. *flings baby dust around to those that want and need it*
