24-8-2009 - Post-Miscarriage Dr. Visit

The past few days the bleeding has become more like really light brown spotting. I was really hoping that spotting would have been totally gone by the time the Dr. visit rolled around, well it ALMOST was. We go in and she just asks me how the bleeding is, I tell her and she says that sounds perfectly normal. She did a pelvic exam and looked at my cervix and said everything was back down to normal. She said we should wait 3 months to try again. I am sooooo happy. Words cannot express how happy I am. She's such an awesome OB, I'll definitely be going back to her when we conceive again.

We went back to the $ store again tonight. We got some decorations for our neices 1st birthday party that is on Saturday. I saw the pregnancy tests and thought why not? I bought 5. I took one tonight just to see if the HCG was totally out of my system. I got a realllly faint positive. So I assume there's still some HCG. I can't wait to start charting. I really hope my periods go back to their normal 29-30 day cycles! that would be awesome. I also used to know when I was ovulating, I could feel it. I hope I haven't lost that "ability".

We were married May 23, my LMP was May 31. I think I conceived around June 17th. Our M/C happened Aug 11. We tried for ONE cycle and got pregnant. It was our first time doing it without protection, and we got pregnant so quickly. I figured we'd be trying for months like a lot of people do, but it just happened so soon! I'm really hoping it happens that quickly again, only this time with a better outcome--a healthy baby in our arms.
