01-7-2008 - pills.. family members

My mood while writing this blog: sad

So today has been more of my rough days. This morning I woke up to find my mother standing in my doorway and I asked her what she was doing and she replied just seeing if you were awake.. I could tell she was hiding something behind her back so I followed her to the bathroom and when she walked out I checked the cabinet and there sat my hubby's pain pills for his back problems (these pain pills werent out in the open they were in my hubbys dresser so yes she went in my room while I was sleeping). Yeah we havent had the best realationship ever but I really thought she was changing boy oh boy how I was WRONG!!!!!

Then about 4:30pm I get a call from my aunt here in the city telling me my grandmother was being taken to the hospital via ambulance b/c my mom called them (my grandmother lives in Missouri and we live here in Texas). My grandmother lives w/my aunt and she had been un-responsive since 11pm lastnight due to her taking 3 bottles of pillls. Then I get a call that they are care flighting my grandmother to a bigger hosptial b/c they are getting no response from her. My grandmother had fallen several times through the night and my aunt and cousin just put her back in bed.. omg. She is on life support and having some response meaning that she is now opening her eyes, squezzing my aunts hand and moving her head. The doctors said she still has a 50/50 chance of making it and she will be taken to mental ward when and if they get her fully recovered. I feel so bad right now b/c I am here and she is there but there seriously is nothing I can do for her. My mother, Aunt (grandmothers sister) and cousin are driving down there now its a 7 hour drive. I will call each hour to check on my grandmother! I have been praying all day for her.

I have really tried not to stress myself out about these situations today as its not good for me to be stressed and pregnnat!!
