27-3-2009 - First Doc / Ultrasound

Well

I went to my first doctor's appoitment and everything was ok, normal weight in, general information. I got a pap smear even though I got one in July, just because I had two really bad cramps ( that crippled me over ) over the weekend while I was in Detroit, and so just to make things sure. So all my 8 viles of blood where fine, and everything was good!! I am electing to check and see what percent our baby will have for Down syn, and such so our 12 week ultrasound is April 20th at 9 am I AM SUPER excited just to get that extra ultrasound in. BUT very nurvous at the same time.

I had a ultrasoud on Wensday and tech says i was 8 weeks and baby was 2cm long ( which in this baby book i have says at eight weeks 'starting' is 1.2cm and near the end of 8 weeks around 2 cm ) well i had just turned 8 weeks that day and so I laugh now to my boyfriend explaining its a girl and im carrying a whale lol.. we think its funny!

Were going to place bets but a neato style, but writting sex, due date , due date time of day and cravings and weight totally gained and write it on paper then you put everyones in a freezer bag ( without looking at eachothers or talking about it ) and then put the freezder bag with the guesses in a bigger freezer bag and fill it with water to make a ice cube and put in the freezer till after baby is due to see who was right! Its gives us something to do and brag about, besides our wonderful Precious Moments hand made bedding and room decor LOL.. alonmg with our amazingly professional scrapbooking skills LOL..

Well just cant belive I put a body and heart beat to my baby, that was the most amazing thing ever and I dont even need a picture its there in my mind and wow was it ever special, i really didnt have a bond with it, but now I have seen it it has completly changed I can only imagin how different it will be when it comes!!!
