| 26-10-2009 - Hospital Appointment | My mood while writing this blog:Happy |
Hello,
So I thought I would send a little update blog on my appointment today at the hospital.
I was really impressed with the consultant and he was very thorough! Although I didn't really appreciate the internal examination, wasn't very pleasent AT ALL!
Anyway I didn't mention to him about the clomid just said about my irregular periods and that I haven't been getting +ve OPK's so didn't think I ovulated often. Told him about my scan which was clear and my LH hormone being low, which he said wasn't a problem apparently it's only a problem when it's high?! But he didn't have any of the stuff to look at as my docs hadn't given it on the file (which is why I guess he didn't know about the clomid!)
So not to bore you with who said what I am having my bloods done on November 9th (CD22) to see if I O'd, I guess anyway as it says 'Pogestorne' on the slip
I also have a blood test slip which I will have to arrange for when AF shows up between CD2-5 (Not exactly sure what this is for) but on the 'Test requiried' it says to check for LH, FSH (know what these are) Prolactin, Oestrogen, SHB G(?) and weirdly testosterone?!? (thinking to do with PCOS?!) If AF doesn't show he said to a HPT on CD30 and then he has given me a prescription for a drug which will induce AF.
He has requested an appointment at the hospital where they are injecting dye into my cervix to see if my tubes are blocked which shows up on an x-ray, so I should get an appointment in the next three weeks.
He has also given me a cup so that DBF can give a sample which I apparently have to keep under my armpit and deliver to the hospital within four hours. Will do this the same day as the x-ray.
Then I have another appointment with him on 14th December when all of the results should be back. So I am VERY happy. Lots going on here.
I also finished my Clomid today and so am just about to go out and buy some clear blue OPK's to treat myself as they're easier to use when I'm at work. I have had no side effects from my clomid but I have had a seriously bad cold these last few days so I'm a bit worried the clomid wont work because of my cold! Not even sure if I'm going to go to work tomorrow as I have had the shakes and wheezing and sickness! Not good!
Anyway thanks to all of you who have checked in with my blog... it's very kind of you all to take the time to read when I'm sure you have enough stuff of your own going on. Mwah xx
