11-7-2008 - don't know what to do

My mood while writing this blog:
upset & confused

Me and my hubby had fight last night. its not our first but sometimes i think they have gotton worse since we found out i was pregnant. Now dont get me wrong both me and hubby are happy we're having a baby together(he has one from past marriage) but its been putting stress on us. I am upset b/c can't stay home with it afer its born b/c he can't pay everything. Last night both of us said stuff we didnt all mean. He was going to leave and told me to get out of his house. I told him if i was leaving that i would get rid of baby(i was really mad and upset) told him i wasnt going to keep something if he wasnt going to be around. He looked at me and asked how i could say something like that. I looked back at him and asked 'well you're leaving me and telling me to get out after you said you loved and would take care of both of us and you're asking how i can say what i did?' well he did end up leaving. he was gone for few min and he came back. We yelled more. finally i told him if we didnt stop we were going to end up losing the baby and neither of us wanted that. we finally stopped yelling and went to bed. Sometimes i wonder if i want this baby to be born into mine and his world. I mean i love it already and i have yet to meet and hold it but had hold on my heart when i found out i was carrying it. I just don't know bout me and hubby sometimes. I know it'll probably work out for the best.....

Hang in there. I was your age when I had my first baby, and it's a real transition to make. I remember my husband and I fought terribly when I was pregnant that time, because it was going to change the relationship dramatically, of course. Change can be scary. And the hormones coupled with being nervous about change can really rock the boat, I know. Everyone says things they don't mean in the heat of the moment. This is a much harder adjustment for men to make than women, I think, because to them it's still a vague concept in many ways, whereas we girls have a physical and very real connection right from the start. They really don't "get" what we're going through, and so there's a little disconnect there. But you know, once this baby arrives, your bond will be stronger than ever and you'll both look back on this rough time with amazement that it ever happened, and you'll laugh at yourselves. I've been there. It'll get better!

Amy I am sure it will work out for best......I know sometimes when your pregnant it can have alot of stress on a couple.......I wish you both the best and when you finally hold your baby it will be worth it.
