27-10-2008 - NESTING.....

My mood while writing this blog:
TIRED

I think I have finally got in that nesting mode....I said I probably wouldnt be one of those women who did that cuz i am lazy and dont like to do anything. Well this wk end i started boxing stuff up we dont need in the house. Its my husbands house that he lived in with his ex and their son, so there is lot of junk there...some is still hers she didnt take and he just tells me if i run across it to throw it out, that he dont want it, his son has shit load of toys, i mean tubs and tubs full and we even sent lot to his mom house after she moved out. Well we need room for the baby stuff. His house was a 2 bedroom house(use to be 3 but ppl before him took out wall that was in living room to make bigger living room making it just a 2 bedroom house. So hubby and some of my family put the wall back up to make a room for the baby(its still not done, almost. I had to clean out that closet(hubby didnt have clue what was in there cuz for longest time there was always a couch in front of it. Most was bunch of junk, or some of her stuff...it went to trash. Well then i moved to his son room(he has 2 closets in his room, a small and big one.) The big closet has shelves in it to store stuff. Well both was just filled with junk, or bunch of his toys(half toys he doesnt know he has) I started with the little one. I got rid of bunch of that stuff and made place where we could store stuff. I then started on big closet(this took 2 days) I boxed bunch of his toys up(its stuff i have never seen him have out, hubby said dont worry bout it. I dunno how many boxes i boxed up, but there was a bunch. i made lot of space in that closet, some of boxes hubby loaded onto truck to take to storage, some i just pushed back into closet. there is lot more room in his room now and places where we store little more stuff. Now i just gotta wait for hubby to finish up the little bit of paint in the baby room so i can finish setting stuff up in there.

Yep, it definately sounds like you are nesting. I am going through it as well and have been for like 4 days. For me it gets so much worse around 37-38 weeks.

I am definitely lazy and hate cleaning too. I hope the nesting stage will hit me soon! There is alot that needs to be done around my house. Just this weekend I told my bf I would clean up my piles of clothes in the corner of my side of the bedroom AND sweep/mop the kitchen floor. Well I took a 2 hour nap instead. He can't wait for the nesting stage either. He will love to see me actually doing something!
